He’s got a lot of potential. Think his attitude is very good.

He still has a lot to learn but has all the tools to be a really good player. Think it’s important to keep him for another 2-3 years and then maybe sell when he is closer to the full potential he has.

9 million is insulting too. Frankfurt apparently want 17 million for Ndicka who plays at the back for them. That’s the sort of fee we should be looking for for Bassey as a bare minimum.

Aye, true. I'm probably doing that Scottish thing where you undersell players. If we are offered anywhere in the region of £15m plus good add ons though I think we have to take it. His stock is high and if we want to move to a model of buy low, develop and sell then we have to actually start doing it. We've fucked it with Kent, Kamara, Aribo and Goldson. Won't be selling Bassey for anything less than what we got for Patterson. He was a young boy making his way into the game. 

Calvin Bassey is a young boy who just starred in a European final. He's way ahead of where Patterson was.
