Arfields time was up. His game time this season has been very limited… he could well return to Falkirk or even take up a player managers role… Queens Park perhaps…

He’d absolutely walk it in the Scottish championship or league one. He could start every game for 10 teams in our league.

Happy they are going. All have given us some great memories but it’s time to move on. The big thing for us is replacing them & getting it right as the past few windows having been shocking to say the least (excluding January).

Thank you for your contributions but it is right the relationships were ended now and all parties move on to fresh challenges. I do wish them well in the future but I am not disappointed any of them are leaving now, actually relieved we haven’t stupidly renewed any

The one I’m most gutted about is Arfield although I think it’s the correct time to go. He’s not by a long way the most skilful player we’ve seen but he’s up there for me as one of the most passionate and dedicated who’s scored some important goals for us.

We’re losing 2 starters imo so hopefully we will hopefully go and sign 2 quality starters to replace them and not development players.

Shite we didn't get the money we should have for Kent and Morelos, about 30 million squandered.

Happy they are gone though, need ti weed out the ones who don't give a fuck about the club and those who don't have anything more to offer.

Onwards and upwards.

Should either have extended their contracts at that time and build around them or sell while their stock was high.

We didn't do anything just wallowed in 55 and let them run their contracts down and players in that position don't give a fuck.

They're like your weans. You love and nurture them, and when it's time for them to leave the nest you do so with compassion.

Even the lazy wee shite who overstayed his welcome and contributed fuck all before leaving with the case his maw packed for him.

They'll never know how good they had it. Wish them the best, simultaneously their room is already getting redecorated to remove any link to them 😏

Beale not fucking about either btw. 👍

Why.... in reality not one of those departures is Beale swinging the axe?

Let's see how good he is at shifting Matondo, Sakala, Wright, Barisic, McLaughlin,Kamara,Lundstram & Hagi.....all them need to be punted if we are serious about doing this rebuild right

He wanted Jack, he kept him.  He could have kept the popular Arfield, or potentially the Kent he's known and developed for years. Both released.

He's put it out there before the season is finished. I'd say that's not fucking about, it's pretty direct.

Agree on the rest needing moved on but given they're all contracted next season it's right he deals with those later and in different ways depending on individual circumstances. "Swinging the axe" would likely mean paying up contractual salaries and releasing those he'll likely want to make a sale from. Hes already said it won't only those OOC who will be leaving.

Individually excellent, as a group we are losing a lot fo experience.

McGregor, hall of fame and many fantastic moments for this club.

Helander had an amazing partnership with Goldson and was a big loss for us with injury.

Arfield, as a man and as a person has been fantastic around the place. A difficult decision but the best one for all parties.

Kent has had some big moments for this club, an excellent player for Rangers.

Morelos has had an outstanding contribution for this club, the European Top Goalscorer for Rangers.

We want to help Steven Davis through his rehab.
