There are a few issues but not too worried just now. The next 2-3 weeks are crucial. Cantwell provides leadership in the middle, which we were lacking for a while. We still struggle to break things down and the team will need some time to gel. We also need to start shooting from outside the box as we dont trouble keepers enough, especially against defensive sides. We will be okay, but need to be killing games off and take the chances that we create.

Must say there's an underwhelming feeling after that, fancied us strongly tonight and thought we'd take 3 or 4 off them, we played well at times but for most of the second half we were far too slow and predictable.

Having an extra man for 30+ minutes and not putting the tie to bed is very frustrating, particularly when they offered absolutely nothing in an attacking sense all night.

I saw a bit more to our play tonight than against Killie. There were a few little balls inside and players were trying little intricate passes inside the box. They didn't come off, but there was at least an attempt at trying something different. 

We were smarter with the use of long balls tonight too. 

The side to side passes tonight were more because of how deep they sat, especially when they went down to 10. I saw it more probing rather than zide to side for the sake of it. 

Tonight wasn't perfect, but could at least see some patterns of play and some good football at times. 

Once we click, i think we'll be a really good team.

Tonight (apart from the first 15-20 mins) wasn't 'shite'.

It was boring and pedestrian but we controlled the vast majority of that game.

It’s funny how the general consensus was that we’d be fine domestically early on in the season, but Europe may have come too soon.

Instead we run over a decent side until they go down to 10 men and resort to playing like a bottom 6 SPFL side, then struggle like hell. 
 

Livingston is going to be a brutal game, I feel far more confident about us beating a Servette side over there who open up against us, that Martindales side who will play a 5-4-1 and sit in.
