He done exceptionally well for his goal and regardless of what has happened in the past he played his part tonight. If you watch his goal back in full, his knock on from a throw which was 15 yards inside our own half was great and to go on and two defenders and score was great. Lets hope he can replicate on Sunday. Fantastic result tonight for the team & club. Chuffed. It was far from perfect but he worked ever so hard and got his rewards with a bit of skill and clever finish. As mentioned above if this isn't enough for him to fully kick on now in terms of his confidence then there isn't much hope for him. Still looks like he's never seen a football at times - like the first goal for example. However worked his socks off for the team and did look better holding up the ball and made decent decisions. In fact we were that high up the pitch for Betis' 2nd due to him keeping the ball on that right side, unfortunately it was a comedy errors after he released the ball. His goal was absolutely brilliant as well and he does look in much better shape over last couple of weeks. I'm no expecting a world beater but HOPEFULLY with steady improvements we'll have a guy that can at least be useful in the next few months.
