Obviously got to be plan and ambition, win all the home games with a point thrown in on Thursday should be enough to hopefully nullify the prospect of having to get something in Seville, which given our terrible record in Spain, is a prospect to be avoided if at all possible. It’s a lot to ask of a youngster but I would rather play McCausland ahead of Wright to be honest. In fact I’d rather play Sterling as extra cover for the space between Goldson and Tavernier than Scott Wright. Dickie1963

Sparta Prague are decent, but I don’t think we should be fearing them or setting up to contain them.

Agreed but I’m thinking Tav pushing forward (because we’ve nothing else on that side) might need cover. Dont think Clement will encourage or tolerate any idea of inferiority. JackAlex93 11,614
Sima will be a big asset to us on Thursday if we can get him in behind on the break
Negri's lovechild 14,497
I think we might see Sima and Wright both start again to utilise their pace in getting in behind their defence. Despite his goal, i wouldn't start Dessers as i think he'll allow himself to become isolated up top. Instead, i'd chance Danilo as he has more running in him and works harder. One thing i really liked about the game at the weekend is that while the fullbacks were high up the pitch, the two wider front men rarely let them overlap. The Beast 9,264
I suspect the team will not look a lot different from Saturday's with the exception of the left side of the defence shuffle if Borna doesn't make it. Dickie1963
B1872 21,102
Reckon a draw wouldn't be the worst result in terms of qualifying as I fancy us to win our next two home games in order to qualify. Would like to se us go with: Butland Tav Goldson Souttar Davies Raskin Lundstram Sima Cantwell Wright (there literally is no on else left) Danilo graeme_4 and Dickie1963
AGC123 1,231
Bookies have them @ evens us 5/2 I’m surprised I expected the odds to be much tighter. it’s gong to be a tough game but I fancy us for atleast a draw away
PromDeAnglais 5,708
Draw would be a decent result then go for the win at Ibrox. Not expecting miracles from Clement with the squad as it is.
Broxi 11,685
We should be going over to win, feeling very confident after Saturday. Hopefully come out with the same intensity and energy and get the result.

Popular Post hawkfalcons 2,316
Would take a draw just now, wish we had had Clement before we had went to Cyprus as I don't think we would have lost that match. plymouthranger, JackAlex93, Hadron Collider and 3 others

bluenoz 31,286
I haven't posted other than to share my condolences because football seems unimportant right now. But life goes on, and I'm sure Ben will watch from the heavens above on Thursday. A Rangers victory for RM would be sweet. real boydie9, graeme_4 and Bobby Hume
.Williamson. 83,809
I quite fancy us to get a win on Thursday and that confidence has literally came from how good we looked on Saturday when the manager had only been in the door a matter of days Bobby Hume
Drunk and disorderly. 14,680
I can see us nicking a 2-1 win. Tav and Sima to score. Butland will be a very busy man. Bobby Hume
JackAlex93 11,614
We looked good on Saturday and should have scored more. Clement only had a few days to work with the team and you could see a sizeable change already. Confident of us going over there and scoring goals. onlythestrongsurvive 1,007
I knew we'd get beat off the cypriot mob as the team had just chucked it - funny what a couple of weeks can do as think we'll at least get a draw over there and qualify from the group with Betis. Boy looks like dug meat. would actually play Davies, bit more experience and has played the position before. Devine for me is an average player, maybe different if it was right back we were talking about Watched the highlights of the Breidablik game v our B team and Davies looked very poor.
