And had he not made that recent post in the Mind Matters section, I wouldn't have realised he was going through his own demons. It's like that recent, great Norwich City twitter post. Many times you just don't know who's struggling. As said, I didn't know him, but genuinely feeling very sad, a sense of loss. In one way I kinda guessed, as anytime I made a post of my own recovery, getting clean and sober, my own mental health struggles when younger, he always 'liked' it. But I wasn't sure if it was him, or a family member was going through it. Please, please please reach out people, talk, share, don't bottle it up. As many times other people including those close to you aren't aware. An absolute gentleman. My heart and love goes out to Ben's family and his many friends on here. The outpourings of love and grief shows just how well thought of he is. I’m absolutely broken at this news. Ben was such a caring, thoughtful, and profoundly daft guy - and getting to know him over the last few years has been a genuine pleasure. My life was richer for having him in it. Don’t take your tomorrows for granted, we never know how many we have around the corner.
