Sure he was one of the first guys I properly interacted with back in that daft phase where a bunch of us in the OT would jump into random JustinTV channels chatting shit and getting cunts to write Rangers related stuff.  

Will remember those all the more fondly now.

I’m not a frequent poster although I’m on this site several times a day. Never knew Ben personally only through RM. came across as a an intelligent, caring guy with a good sense of humour. Will be sadly missed. Thoughts with his friends and family.

Aye was absolutely superb that Justintv stuff. That wee junkie from knightswood was a particular highlight. That and invade a forum where genuine highlights of a pretty shite time

his last post on here was ironically offering support to another member who was struggling which shows the measure of the boy.

@psb07158or any of the other admin, if there are any plans for a just giving or whatever then keep us updated and we can either use it to provide support for his family or a decent sized donation to mental health charities

I'm no sure what to say. I hope I don't say something wrong or offend anyone but I'll try.

It's just fucking shite. Never knew Ben personally. Only knew him from interacting on here. It's strange cause you form an opinion on someone and paint a picture of them based on nothing but words written on a football internet page but with Ben I always thought he seemed like a genuinely good guy. Then you read about him from other good posters.and it's just echoes that. He had his troubles and he was strong enough to share them and reach out but he was genuinely the first to reach out and give advice or show sympathy for anyone else going through things. To be in such a dark place whilst trying to shed light on others is a huge testament to the shape of a man.  

I'm sorry for his friends and family. I'm sorry for those who knew him. I'm sorry for the strangers who reached out to him. I'm sorry this happened. Some of you will be questioning why and beating yourself up but you can't. Loads of good people on here reached out. You'll never understand it, nobody can.

To anyone out there who’s hurting - it’s not a sign of weakness to ask for help. It’s a sign of strength. If you're going through hell, keep going. It gets better. I hope I'm not out of order for using this as a guide or promotion but the Mind Matters forum on here is genuinely one of the best things that exists anywhere. We have to learn something from this. We have to use it somehow and if this teaches us anything it's that we can all use a little help or give a little help and we can all do that in mind matters. Even if you're not comfortable asking for help in an open group platform, there are many good folks on there who have their inboxes open. Myself included.

Heartbreaking to hear that. Always came across as a proper decent guy. There's no shame in admitting you're not okay. Fighting demons with someone else makes each battle more bearable. Talk to your friends, use the safe spaces available. There's always someone, myself included, even when you think there isn't.

I know that when he was younger he was friendly with a couple of UB members so I wouldn't be surprised to see something from them.

Shocked to read this this morning ,I saw the heading colour change to Black last night and wondered why .Looked about to see who we had lost .Really shocked to find out it was one of the forums top guys .

Cant say too much else  other than @psb07158 did a fine job with his OP ,isn’t easy saying the right thing when a friend has passed .

absolutely on my arse with a huge vet bill but £5 here for the pot - whether it be a rangers brick, donation to a charity or whatever. post a paypal link or something when you decide what to do and donation will be made.
