I read this quite a lot, that it's "not the rangers way" but it doesn't really make sense to me why there's a sizable proportion of fans that think this way. We have high standards and yet supposedly it's frowned upon to try and uphold those standards? Bizarre. You can see how the stadium can get on top of players during a match, because we hold them to a high standard. They've mismanaged club finances, they haven't reinvested at times they should have, they've run up the largest wage bill in Scottish football with very little return for it, there are the multitude of court cases, season upon season of no kit revenue, the farce with the stadium, the vanity projects etc. Their business foresight has been severely lacking. I do think we need to be more financially prudent and sustainable, but with the incomes generated by the support and sustained European success, we shouldn't be needing an additional £10m a season to prop us up and keep us going.
