He claimed today in the press conference he was down speaking to a coach about a player that the coach knew and a player Rangers might be interested in. Apparently there was an offer for the trio on Wednesday that never came to fruition - Lockwood tried to extend the terms until the end of the season but the board ratified the terms with king today and ended their reign.
