Cummings might act the clown but he loved playing for Rangers and was gutted when we never signed him permanently.   Murty always had a smile on his face when talking about him saying he was a character and full of confidence.  I think it's unlikely to be him.

I stand corrected, the game at the piggery was Murtys last...although Jimmy does mention he had 5 months of this which could bring Forrester back into the equation,  was Jimmy  Murtys assistant and JJ the 1st team coach?

The rumours were that murty and Nicholl never got on and murty went through JJ with everything.
