Did the tarriers have to apologise for the Goon Brigade attacking pubs in Gorgie before they ended up getting leathered.

Were does this stop?

If a video comes up from a social club or pub of a naughty song Have the club to applogise for that too.

The police walked as song was song so it’s their job to uphold the law not Rangers.

Rangers aren’t trying to do their job, they’re trying to minimise PR damage to the club. Marketability, commercial deals, international reach - all made more difficult by having ‘racist’ fans.

We live in a very PC and perma-offended world, Rangers are just de-risking the impact of PR damage.

Their support seen off the team bus on Sunday to a chorus of “we won’t be mastered by no orange bastard”

Unsurprisingly, there’s no uproar by the politicians & media regarding that!

Club shouldn’t be pandering to these bias cunts!

So anything that happens in Glasgow and beyond now we need to apologise for?

Casuals fighting in town?

Bams in Rangers tops at Orange walk?

naughty songs in a pub or club?

Where exactly does it stop?

I don’t know. But at the game, post trophy celebrations or travel to and from the game seems to be the scope at the moment.

We as fans need to just stop shooting oursleves in the foot.

It is pretty obvious lads.

Rangers are running a campaign on racial and cultural inclusion.

If you publicly display values against this campaign, then Rangers reserve the right to ban you for as long as they see fit.

They are not running a anti-shoplifting campaign. Shoplifting is not giving Rangers a bad name and causing us problems. Sectarianism and Racism however is.

Notice that the word sectarianism has been replaced by anti-Irish/catholic now.. wonder why?

“Hun” deemed not offensive.

”Orange bastard” never condemned! In fact, laughed at & told he loves it in the instance of Kris Boyd!

Politicians & MSM aligned with a certain party provide radio silence in regards to anything from a certain clubs persuasion… Sunday a prime example, yet all comment again & again when it comes to issues regarding the Rangers support.

Calls for a government summit regarding a song?!

Wake up man, theres an agenda being driven here!

You’ve got to ask yourself why it’s causing us problems however?

By all accounts you’re correct, people have a level of personal responsibility! It’s 100% not a level playing ground however!

1 set of fans sing a song about the Irish going home - numerous politicians & MSM condemning it!

An hour later another set of fans sang songs about orange bastards and those same politicians & MSM haven’t mentioned it 🤷‍♂️

The thing that pisses me off with the argument on sectarianism is the way it is utilised by the Scottish government.

Unless the issue is tackled straight down the middle with the only agenda being to stop it from all sides, then the issue is never going to be resolved. I completely understand where the club is coming from here. We have a brand to protect and have been dragged into the debate by politicians and broadcasters, but at the end of the day are we so offended by words that people deserve jail time? (I mean this on both sides of the divide).

If physical violence is brought or damage and destruction is caused, them absolutely, it's a massive issue. The fact that words are causing the uproar it is, is pathetic in my opinion. I don't remember being offended by words, but the inequality of the treatment is obviously the point here.

I have a major issue with the anti catholic part.

Last time I checked Protestants were victims of the famine too.

I have an issue with the anti catholic part as well. It's what being a Protestant is. There's a clue in the name.

Those who seemingly pine for “the old country”, those whose presence here was forced upon them by British misrule, those who are so patently miserable, frustrated and riddled with grievance that they blow up innocent men, women and children (or, at best, support the cowards who do), those who resent this country and prefer to honour the flag of a foreign nation which most have never been to.

If you feel so miserable living in a country which you believe abused your spiritual homeland, and the catalyst for that supposed abuse is no longer an issue, then why not return?

If the SNP secured independence, many Scottish unionists would consider leaving this country. I would suggest that, in that scenario, most would return if power reverted to Westminster at some future date. I know that certainly applies to me.

Point is this: if you hate where you are and the reason you ended up here doesn’t exist any more, then you have two options - return to the place you consider to be “home” or, alternately, stay and bitch incessantly making every cunt around you miserable.

That clear enough?

No it’s not very clear. Why can’t any cunt be completely honest about this song.  Because you avoided saying the word Catholic- reading your explanation you could be talking about the fucking British Raj in India in the mid 1800’s 😂

Did the SNP MP’s tweet or demand action about the trouble, Anti- English racism or the mess left in London?

They didn’t have to. Rangers didn’t have to either. The club has chosen to. They are running an anti racist / bigotry / discrimination campaign. They want to put out a strong message it isn’t acceptable. It’s not fucking hard to get your head round is it?

The SNP, Scottish Gov and most of their public services are a disgrace, not getting any argument from me on that.

It is simple really.

They squeal blue murder about how offended they are and push it as a big fuckign deal.

We only say "Aye but they do it too".

If we want them to be pulled up as much as we do, then we have to collectively as a group 'become massively offended' by it.

They in giant numbers phone in to radio and TV programmes. They write to MPs. They lodge complaints with Ofcom. They simply absolutely destroy us on the PR game.

We dont. We turn the other cheek. We refuse to fake any mock offense. Commendable as it may be, it is going to see us lose any fight that we get into with them.

They kick up enough of a stink that they will be able to call us 'orange bastards' and get away with it, whilst if anyone dares to insult their plastic paddy credentials, they will be punished massively.

You may not think it is fair, but it is how the world works. Rangers fans have to either play their game on their terms and join in the mock offence line. Or simply accept we cant insult them and they can insult us.

There really is no option where you are still allowed to sing sectarian shit at them. That is done, its over. Anyone that does it is a fucking moron and runs the risk of being deservedly banned (deservedly due to stupidity).

I honestly, do not see the issue with the song. The famine is over why don’t you go home? It’s clearly a laugh at if you don’t like it here then go to ireland. Pathetic in my opinion, but if people are offended then fair enough everyone is entitled to an opinion.

However, I don’t even know if the videos going about are real, too much “dubbed” videos going about these days it’s hard to tell.
