True. Its not as if he isnt up to speed fitness wise. That to me yesterday looked like Beale forgot pre season is over. The time to fuck about and "get minutes in legs " has gone. For example he plays dessers who clearly isnt fit yet , probably to give him game time, and leaves danilo on the bench. Someone who has done a proper pre season and actually scored goals in the process. Get your best team on the park at the start of every competitive game, its not rocket science. I’d go for: Butland Tav Goldson Souttar Barisic Raskin Jack Lammers Cantwell Danilo Dessers Lammers in the RW “Aribo” role, Raskin and Jack doing the leg work in the middle giving Cantwell a bit of freedom. Dessers as the focal point with Danilo playing close by the like the Roofe/Morelos combination in the 55 season. It’s bold but we have to get a lead at home, can’t see us going over there and overturning a deficit, so need to be positive. Worst case we lose but it gives us some practise for Livi, because we sure as shit can’t line up like we did yesterday. Lammers and Sima's starting position needs to be much wider then come inside to make the oppositions full/wing backs actually have to make a decision with two Rangers full backs advancing. Depending on which side the ball is on Cifu/Cantwell should be looking to link up with the 10 and the full back to create overloads and one twos down the wing to get themselves or the full backs to the byline. On the other side the full back should be stuck the byline, Raskin being the player switching the ball to the other side with the 8 or 10 looking to be an extra passing option with the other looking to join the striker in the box. Danilo also has the ability to drop deep and drag players out of position We need to be moving and stretching teams and making the opposition players make decisions.
