simon 1,770
Was so refreshing seeing a team without Goldson, Balogun was terrific. Thought souttar was a bit ropey MisterC and HG5

He's quick and aggressive, Goldson's a carthorse in comparison. Just a shame we don't have anyone really solid to partner him as Souttar's a bombscare at times, Goldson's fuckin' gash and Davies is Davies. In fairness Davies probably deserves a chance to partner Balogun more than the other two...... as much as that pains me to say. Davies deserves nothing, he can stay away from playing thanks JCDBigBear
SIRB_72 4,148
Glad he's back in the team. I was honestly not his biggest fan and always thought he was a drop off on Helander first time round but they two alternating during 55 worked really well. However with Goldson dropping off at an alarming rate and Souttar being Souttar he has just managed to put in consistent performances. He's given Goldson and Barisic confidence earlier this season and I'm sure will do the same with Souttar. Mentioned this before but he's the only guy in our squad who has won something every year he's played with us. He's clearly a good influence in the dressing room, adores the club and I'm assuming isn't on massive money either. Popular Post Number5 2,284
Should have been brought in weeks ago. Total mismanagement. CBs needed rested/dropped and probably cost us a few points. bluenoz 32,400
I'm not sure why Balogun started on the right side, but it worked for him. Souttar doesn't look as comfortable on the left, so I found it a strange decision. HG5, Albion and GA1972

BuffaloUSAGers 1,430
Boy when Souttar is off he really stinks. Got to put Goldson back on and move Balogun over. JCDBigBear and Boybluesy
shaka 1,831
I hope Baolgun's performance today proves that we can win without the old guard and we see Tav and Lundstram getting rested next. OrangeRab
JCDBigBear 10,977
Balogun was outstanding today. Just pipped Cantwell for MOTM for me. I would play him and Goldson in back four from now on. Goldson plays better when Balogun is there (or maybe it just appears that way). After he got the face injury we brought in Souttar who is a bomb scare. gazza87 171
Unfortunately he's too old, but on the balance he deserves another year. Goldson can go, Davies too. Souttar will probably stay but we need a min of 2 new CB's next season. Trooblue and hawkfalcons

Goldson & Balogun formed a good partnership when Souttar was missing early in the season. Still, I always find it harsh on players when we play them out of position. Souttar is clearly not comfortable on the left side. He had a nightmare for 15 minutes at the start of the second half, which is what fans remember, but he also made some key interceptions yesterday. Souttar is a decent player. HG5

Blueshoff 12,785
Not the greatest footballer but he has heart and spirit. Talks well in pressers too. Think he may be a good person to eventually move into the coaching side. Once he's collected a few more trophies of course. Moody Blue 10,005
The way he carries himself is very admirable. Posed for pics with my niece a couple of weeks ago while shopping, though his clobber was highly questionable for a man in his late 30s, but seems to have a great attitude which is no bad thing around the club.
