magic8ball 27,901
Harts career dived very similar to Jim Leighton 30years ago . Leighton made a remarkable recovery ,But Leighton was better and only out of the frame for a couple of years . Hes in the last chance saloon . Seen a couple of the spurs games he did play and he was still OK. Not the level of a top flight English keeper but he will do alright for the scum IMO. He'll improve them but they need a defence and a midfield too. Hart hasn't kicked a ball in a long long time and the last time he was playing g he was making howlers. Don't underestimate just how good a keeper mclaughlin is. Wouldn't swap either of our keepers for hart. Number5 2,121
Who knows what Harts like nowaways, hardly kicked a ball in years. What we do know is he'll be on a decent whack. He isn't exactly wonderful on the ball (The reason Pep wanted him shifted by City) so not too sure how he'll fit into the fenians total footballing plans!!! BlueSuedeSambas 53,788
Joe Hart in 2021 isn’t the Joe Hart from 2012. They’ve signed him in the hope they can turn his form around. In terms of being a big presence in the dressing room and a leader and organiser on the pitch he’ll do well but he’s always got a howler in him - even more so if he’s going to be asked to play it out from the back. scottyscott1963 and J-Maestro
Popular Post Johnsey 1,540
Although his best days are well behind him, I don't think it's too bad of a signing. Although the fact they need this option after spunking £5m on a keeper already is a joke. I saw one of their podcasts saying that Pep got rid of Hart because he can't use his feet and that that's just "one man's opinion." Funny, they didn't mind it being one man's opinion when Pep praised Ange Paisley Blue Loyal, Mclean RFC, scottyscott1963 and 4 others
