*****The Official CHAMPIONS vs scum Thread*****

Thought were were excellent second half, especially Aribo and Kamara in the middle of the park. They put the work in and were rewarded. Felt like first half we were a bit too deep, their full backs playing inside allowed their centre mids to find some space but those two nullified that second half and the defensive line played higher until the last 10-15 minutes.

TBF may of THEM were predicting a 5+ win for THEM today as witnessed on a couple of their forums, just shows that a lot of THEM have still not come to terms with the fact that they are up against genuine competition now, as compared against how weak we were before SG decided to grace us with his talents.

They bought into thier own hype for sure. For the last bit they have been acting like they are world beaters again after a couple of easy wins.

Today was a reality check for the deluded. We are still the best team in the country and got the job done under difficult circumstances.

That will be a huge blow mentally for them. That they still couldn't beat us after everything that has happened this week. Come back from the break put our foot down and start moving further away.

In the second half, especially until the goal, Aribo, Davis & Kamara ran the show. Won every tackle and played some nice one-touch football. I questioned Davis' durability for this one. The wee man came through once again.
