Its at Easter Road or Tynecastle I've got the fear, full stadium against us and their players flying into tackles, gives me the fear thinking about it. 

We've not been the same since we won the league but this season is taking the piss, there's just so much wrong I don't even know where to start.

What is it Gerrard watches when we play btw? First half Aribo was our most dangerous forward but in the second half Gerrard clearly instructs him to cover Tav, thus taking away our brightest spark of the first half while Tav half-arses it up and down the park for the second 45. Roofe, Hagi and Morelos anonymous. Morelos was only interested in tangling with Brown who absolutely, embarrassingly, ran the fucking game. 

We were up against a back 3 central defence of McCrorie, Brown and Bates and had 1 main striker up against them. 1 striker against those 3. The all conquering unchangeable system Gerrard loves so much has to change. We've regressed so much since last season that we're back to struggling against teams that sit in while Gerrard watches on from the sidelines puzzled. Our midfield was completely outnumbered tonight as well. They had 3 in the middle to our 1 all night. 

 

Tav was the only player to create anything of note tonight. His set plays were excellent. Overall though still struggling for form and consistent performances. A few in that boat I’m afraid.

Have to agree, the way we're playing just now we'll get skelped at 1 of those grounds in the near future

Motherwell on Sunday will be very interesting after this, we've lost the breathing space we had, a bad result (at a tough venue btw) & I think we'll go into free fall

Last season over the same period, we scored 10 in 5 games from 50 shots at goal

I feel a bit lost myself. What with Walters death and a poor performance tonight, to go along with most of the season. You would have thought tonight they would have come out all guns blazing and put on a performance but nothing appears to fire them up. There’s never really any urgency, no quick counters and everything just is so predictable. It’s all just a bit meh and leaves you feeling scunnered. Players really need to wake up and realise that last season is done and this league needs winning again.

It's surprising at how much we've regressed. Same players but the manager can't get the same performance from them. Interested to know what kind of manager Gerrard is behind closed doors, I can't imagine him destroying players when they fuck up and realistically, thats what they need.

The bigger picture is the most worrying. Unless there is a huge turnaround in performance- which doesn’t look likely- celtic will win this league and the Champions league cash that goes with it.

We will have to replace Macgregor, Goldson, Barasic, Davis, Morelos and probably Kamara as well as others and on current form we are not getting much in the way of transfer money coming in from that lot.

I think we sometimes over-estimate how much events like these affect the players, especially the foreign players who probably have little idea of who he was. The crowd were fired up for the win because of Walter's death, but the players obviously weren't.

The first part of that massive rebuild has to start in January. Not a chance this squad are getting over the line like this. 2-3 out for 4-5 in to recharge us for the 2nd half of the season.

We've averaged about 8 shots, a game blocked this month, which says a lot more about the quality of the shots than the quality of the oppositions defenders
