I always take these stories with a pinch of salt but given that the deal for this Buta fella may be collapsing due to their haggling over a demanded fee of £3M, it would seem that the 'Warchest' that I referred to in a previous post may well have been wittled down by a combination of ridiculous salaries paid to duds, and the lack of the CL money that they seemed to take for granted, would come rolling in.

Honestly think that's the biggest red herring going that they have a big pile of cash in reserve, they like to troop that balance sheet out like it's some kind of security blanket, this past years wage bill for the scum will have wiped any thing they had for a rainy day well and truly out, if you ask me the books are cooked to look a certain way and give off a certain naritive, they cunts couldn't rub two penny's together imo, look at us we had no fucking money at all and still managed to build a team, granted the European runs have helped us massively.

The Rodgers era wiped out anything extra they had .He put the wage bill through the roof and bought a lot of players who didn’t work out .

The “cash in the bank” was always produced when much of the season still need paid for with most of the money already in .

Covid will have hit them harder than any club in Scotland ,they would have lost more than us last year and their players of value ran down their contracts .

Its a pure shame so it is 😁

It's a total myth them stockpiling money. They burned through whatever money they had chasing the tainted 10. Their model was built on being in the champions league something they haven't managed now in 4 seasons lol. 

The biggest sign for me they where struggling was when lawwell left. He knew the mess they are in and wanted nothing to do with it.

Do they not owe the Co-op Bank more than a few quid for a loan secured on the Piggery & Lennoxdoom, or is that just hopeful hearsay along the lines of Sevco are going into admin again that we hear so often from THEM?

Think they are still due a fair whack on these loans .I thought they had been repaid.When I first heard of these loans about 10years ago they were due to be paid around 2017 .But last year when they published accounts somebody on here showed the loans were still due and there were also transfer liabilities of about 30m .

All those years of success they had, squandered, £4m on disco lights when they could have brought in a proper DOF, remember we were mocked for doing that? and spending cash on proper recruitment data and analysis, the level of complacency is fucking mind boggling, they're being ran horrendously and now find themselves with lawwell as de facto DOF reliant on his agent pal and a nobody manager.

Compare and contrast to us, a well run modern football club (football side) with a superb management team and a proper DOF and resulting excellent recruitment.

Its gonna take years for them to sort themselves out but even yet they are still making the same mistakes and still have failed to take the steps to set them on the road to become a modern well run football club, long may that continue.
