Popular Post pacino1690 48
As title suggests Gio needs to pull the trigger on this. We seem so much more assured with big Jon between the sticks. McGregor still has the odd wonder save up his sleave but been lacking in every other department this season. Popular Post STRUTH82 838
Hands like shovels, clearing corners with a Tyson like punches sending the ball 40 yards from goal....he's more than capable. I'll leave it to the boss to decide though. Ayrshire Blue, falkirkNS, gmcf and 8 others
SkylineBlue 25,702
Good keeper and feel so much more confident with him at corners. He never has been, and never will be, as good as McGregor was, but with McGregor on the decline I think its maybe time to give him the jersey looking ahead to next season. BlueKnight87 17,858
I'll admit felt a ton more confident at corners today seeing McLaughlin flying off the line to clear stuff away. McGregor hasn't had that but you also know he's got that big save still in him. Going to be interesting to see how gio plays it.
bluenoz 32,410
Loyalty to McGregor for 8 out of the 9 remaining wins But I'm not as nervous defending corners with big John at the helm. He should be the keeper next year. Hadron Collider and Duncn
GaryMc 2,409
A few heart in the mouth moments but the amount of times he came for the ball or punched it away can't be underestimated when you're under pressure at corners. Especially considering how poor we've been at defending them. OrangeRab, falkirkNS, Boybluesy and 1 other
AGM_72 4,059
Thought his long kicks weren't great, short to middle stuff was mostly fine. Set pieces was definitely an improvement. It helps us play through their press, but we obviously need someone who's just a level above McLaughlin for next season.

JograBear 1,082
Should have been in sooner. Mcgregor causes too many problems in defense.

And that's what we need. Mojo84, TamCoopz, My Fathers Scarf and 1 other
BlueSuedeSambas 56,378
Big decision in the cup final to make. McLaughlin has been the cup keeper this season but the Scottish cup final could be McGregor’s last game for the club and the final one in his career. SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,990
Yes His ability to come for corners would be a massive help. Wouldn’t surprise me if the majority of goals we conceded come from corners or crosses with McGregor. Boybluesy
sassaaaa 11,406
Goalkeepers are not only about great saves these days , they have to be very tidy with the ball at their feet , I dont think this boy has it.

McGregor can come on as a sub in last 5 once it’s all wrapped up. Don’t even care if it’s in goals or not. Sunglasses Ron 2,625
Apart from one cock up in the first half where he gave away a corner, I feel he is much better with the ball at his feet than McGregor. 16BlueSherbert90 19,653
I'm saying nothing more about our team....Time and time again they do wonderful things to compensate the frustrations. But McLaughlin definitely is the one to take over when Rangers or McGregor decides to hang up his gloves.
