Acxording to a prominent ex RM poster who was pretty damn good with financea, he calculated without ticket money its around 20mill we are guaranteed,

Who you talking about? @TheLawMan by any chance? What's he up to these days?

Aye, it's about £25m we are likely to make even if we get beat in each game. Extra c£2m for a win and c£1m for a draw.

The UEFA change in TV money to increase the coefficient payments screw us here.

We get around £1.9m from coefficient points, the scum get £7.7m

Coefficient points £1.9m

Entry fee £13.2m

TV £1.5m minimum

Matchday income £6m

Guaranteed around £22m if those are accurate.

We’ve made €21m in prize money so far, with another €9m due in coefficient payments* (for those who like to keep score, Celtic only make €3.4m from coefficient payments).

That doesn’t include TV money - which is probably ‘only’ a couple of million.

*based on some summary of the pots which included our coefficient rankings.

Given there are some splits of ‘spare’ prize money resulting from draws, a win would likely be worth about €3m with a draw about €900k.

Ah, my list of coefficients must be wrong, then.

No.

That was what we would have received if we lost last night as a payment for losing in the playoff round.

Yeah I just read that. Some sources are saying it's outright prize money but the uefa breakdown does state if you get eliminated you get it and if you get through you obviously get your participation money and not the 5m. I think commentators on the USG game got it wrong too!

In terms of how much the goal is worth people are forgetting that we were guaranteed Europa League anyway which includes the 5 million payment so the goal is worth the difference between what the Champions League will actually make us and what we would have made by playing in the Europa League.
