I think he is right. We have looked pretty poor for most of our matches this season but have come up with some big goals to save us.

I thought last year that Gerrard had created a team that does quite well in Europe where teams open up but struggles in the SPFL slightly.  Nothing I have seen so far this season convinces me anything has changed.

We needed to make some big first team  appointments. That hasn’t happened, although admittedly the squad has improved substantially.

Apart from the Hibs game our performances have been suspect, we played that whole game like the 2md half in Kilmarnock, void of any creative ideas in the final 3rd and passing it about the backline.

He’s right and it’s a massive 3 points for them today.

Its infuriating because with the supports cut it should take something special to win an OF away from home but we didn’t even make them work for it today.

Bolingoli and Brown were dreadful and we couldn’t even shift a gear to try and beat them.

This is why Sky don’t get my money.  Tactical analysis by saying we cant win a league against THAT celtic team?  We were awful today but they were no great shakes either.

Historically once you go 7 points behind in the league it’s very difficult to pull it back.  3 points may not seem like a lot but this Rangers team can’t afford to slip up now.  Even a draw in the next couple of fixtures and things will start to get away from us.  To win the league you need to win consistently and that’s what needs to happen now.
