Celtic are still a "fantastic team" and have not given up on winning a 10th successive Scottish Premiership title, captain Scott Brown says.

The skipper was among 13 players who had to isolate following Christopher Jullien's positive Covid-19 test after the club's Dubai training camp.

Depleted Celtic - also without manager Neil Lennon - drew both matches in the players' absence and trail Rangers by 21 points with three games in hand.

"We always have the faith," Brown said.

"We've always got that positivity. We know that we can keep winning games and that's what we have to do to put pressure on our rivals.

"Yeah, I don't see why not [winning the league is still achievable]. We believe that it is, but we need to make sure we win every single game now."

Yesterday his manager said "the league is probably gone for us".

St Johnstone response to the taigs...finally cunts standing up for themselves that aren't us!

A Saints statement hit back saying: "St. Johnstone Football Club is extremely disappointed with the completely inaccurate and unfounded comments about our facilities made yesterday by Neil Lennon, the celtic FC manager, in a media conference.

"We provide one of the largest away team changing areas in the league. Every team, including celtic, is also provided with a large area for team meetings.

"We follow all protocols and guidance to ensure the health and safety of all players, staff and officials.

"When celtic FC visited McDiarmid Park on October 4th for an SPFL Premiership match, we made sure their every request and requirement was met. celtic viewed all of our facilities before the game and no issues were raised. No issues were raised with us after the game.

"All during this challenging period of the past nine months, our Football Club has maintained adherence to the highest of standards. Indeed, the SPFL delegates have commended us on our work during this campaign."

lennon a grass and a liar, worst Cunt !

The bit that gets me with that is as I said in the original post

IF the government/test & trace or whoever it was upped the 2m rule to 3 or even 4m (they're not quite sure what to go with) for their trip there will have been reasons for it, likely because they spent 7 hours on a fucking flight around the world next to a covid positive case.

The fact they did that though has ended up proving spot on as somebody else tested positive as a result of Julien & has meant they didnt have to get involved in the forfeit games argument, didn't have covid spread through their full squad & can continue training/playing.

They don't see that though...it's an anti catholic/anti Irish/anti celtic/anti Lennon (there's probably more to add to the list) conspiracy....

told 2m but they were 2 seats apart and felt that was enough .Even though the flight was chartered and may be better spaced out than normal passenger planes there were still 60 of them on the plane ,so likely it was full  with the empty seats taking up the required space.looks like they were within 2m of each other .So it’s their own fault again .

Scenes when they drop points tomorrow night

It’s so pleasing to see them go through the shite we had to in previous seasons when we had players coming out with these pishy sound bites about winning games without then being able to actually win them.

Its all their fault. Every single bit of it. No exceptions.

Been defeated, not cheated.

Sounds more like a priest trying to convince his rabble that there is a god. How many titles have Rangers won Tam, how many have Separate Entity won in their history, how many young boys abused Tam
It’s fuckin embarrassing

Was it just me or has anybody else noticed that it seemed to be during the presser that news of the 2nd positive case was revealed to TLB during it .

Added to the seethe .

It was. Why he didn't hold the presser until after the latest results I don't know. Just adds to the madness.

Still no idea who the 2nd positive was?
