There cannot be only easy wins by 3-4 goals, there are going to be plenty of evenings like this too.

Exactly right. Some people on here need to keep that in mind. Sometimes you have to dig deep to get a tough earned 3 points, which is what happened today.

Roofe showcased just how important he'll be this season as a key player who will deliver in the big moments, and Itten proved he can be a gamechanger - but major kudos to Hagi, as well. We looked a lot more dangerous and purposeful once he came on. He stretched them and was always looking for the pass forward when we'd spent the game playing the safe passes. Aribo also battled his way into the game and had a well-deserved assist.

Roofe and the subs deserve massive praise.

Roofe is a class above anything else in the league.

Motherwell should be embarrassed. That's no way to play the beautiful game.

Need to get use to it, its what we will see home and away for the rest of the season. Its up to Rangers to break them down.

Huge result, not picking up the 3 points there would have completely knocked the stuffing out of them. No coincidence that our attacking threat was completely transformed by bringing on players with quick feet and football intelligence. As good as Arfield has been this season he's really not suited to this type of game when there's no space to run into as he's too clumsy on the ball to break down tight defences. Kent yet again well below the level we should expect from him, but Itten gave them something to think about by just getting in about their carthorse centre halves and offering something different. Roofe was quiet but showed his quality when it mattered.

And Gerrard for making them.

Well done to the Management. Very good subs that changed the game. We needed a bit of magic to unlock the defence and Aribo and Hagi did that. Itten dragged people around as well, which game Roofe a bit of space. 82% possession, by the way.

Good point well made, Gerrard gets a lot of grief for not making impactful subs, Aribo and Hagi made the difference today.

At this point I usually say well played The Rangers, but today I say well done The Rangers, for showing a determination which eventually payed off.

Roofe's 2 goals were very good, back to goal, spun on a sixpence and boom. Itten's goal was also good as a lot of crosses from the right were going to the back post with no one there, so either Itten thought I'll stand there or SG told him, whatever it was, it paid off.

We’ve all seen this movie before, that’s the frustration. Fed up with comments like ‘looking forward to seeing how we react to a defeat’, we have ran out of ideas against teams sitting in.  No ideas what to do.

Yep, this aged well
