Bigdave30 9,201
So if the squad if half as valuable as people believe, we could easily cover our arses financially with the sale of 2-3 players? Could be worse. Negri's lovechild and One Jock Wallace
Popular Post frenv 2,179
Hats off to those in the board who have put in the money to cover the club, enabling us to get us over the line with the title. Shows just how important this year's league title is though given the automatic CL entry. Bad Robot, Robmc1, Bears and 19 others
esquire8 45,397
Notice the board particularly highlighted they paid back Kings £5m loan with nearly £1m interest on top of it...... J-Maestro
Negri's lovechild 15,417
Obviously it's still a sizeable loss, but skimming the highlights there, there are a few one off payments, restructuring costs and paying Dave King back, and the associated losses accumulated throughout the pandemic. The biggest concern is the £17m extra invested in the squad. If we spend that amount of money, we need more value for the investment. It does highlight the need for champions league revenue though. falkirkNS
BlueboyG 5,521
If we were to win the league this season CL money would eradicate that loss, however what we are witnessing with our team just now doesn't look great. Johnsey 1,540
Haven't read through it all but usually we announce that we need £10m or so to get through the season and another £7-8m the following. Seems this time it's £7.5m this season and £0.4m the following which to me sounds positive. Although I may have read that completely wrong ha! Bank facility as well. Popular Post STEPPS BOY 77,751
Said before that winning the league this season is bigger for the club than last season. If we don’t win league we’ll basically be back to square one as virtually all assets will be sold and likely under a new manager. barrymorrison1, BridgeIsBlue, gmcf and 2 others

markem 7,407
Amateur hour from me but it strikes me that our failure to cash in on one high ticket player strikes again. Stating the absolute obvious but one healthy sale and those numbers are oh so different. We can only accept a bid if we get it but I just can’t understand how at the end of last season we were not in a position to do that. falkirkNS

Popular Post 6superbarry6 14,638
Don’t actually think it’s that bad tbh, we spent 5m one off costs on stadium improvements and nearly 6m going back to King, taking loss of revenue through covid into account its not that bad.
