In the absence of Morelos then Roofe has to to start up front. Itten can be an option off the right if anything. Without Aribo we struggle big time in the final third.

Thought Sakala was electric tonight. If he loses his place for Wright something just isn't right with the world...or Gio. Wright is the guy you can get away with playing along with the 4 players I mentioned. He's not the player that you can rely on when it's gritty and horrible like tonight.

Now can we give the manager what he needs to get this title over the line? We play so high and so well when we have two more attacking centre mids and thats with a kid on the park. Aribo and Arfield are good and it's nice to see Lowry get so many minutes but we need something else in there!!

The guy is young and just left his home. I thought he was invisible again but I’m willing to give him more than a couple of games to settle in.

However he is pretty far from a starter as it stands. If he is the fighter i think he is then he might surprise us.

Never leave early myself but the team need us there to the end. We'd all stay to the final whistle in an ideal world. 

Our support have stood by the team through the lower divisions and up to 55 and counting. Hard to be too critical. People have work/family commitments midweek and a homewards journey mate. We don't all live local.

Got Aribo Roofe Arfield Jack and Kent to come in to that 11 at the weekend plus Morelos obviously later.

Huge difference to that team today. 3 points was all that was required and that’s what we got.

At times that looked like we had this seasons Gerrard team back playing. Like nothing had improved. Guess you have to take into account that Kent, Aribo and Morelos were all missing. Davis has still to come back too, and if he can recapture last seasons form he will be crucial for us. We've now got Jack back fit as well as Arfield and Roofe. We've also uncovered a great wee talent in Lowry, and he looks like he can step up in some games for us. 

As honking as tonight was, and it really really was, we won.....and there's a lot of quality still to come back!
