Welcome to Rangers, Dujon Sterling

Can't really judge him on last night given he's been out injured and is a right back thrown in at left back against a flying machine. However, he looked physically smaller and weaker than I expected. We've not got a great history in bringing in these EPL academy kids, so hopefully he bucks the trend once he settles in. The problem is going to be getting sufficient game time in his preferred position to develop as we know Tavernier is never getting dropped.

This time one month ago I was fearing seeing him anywhere near the team.  Foolishly I took the same stance with Bassey.

as it stands now he’s first choice in that role beside Lundstram.

One I didnt see coming for sure.

Wasnt that long ago I didnt see any of our squad as first choice 11 🤣

He did well and shouldn't get much criticism. However, a midfield of Lundstram and Sterling won't win a championship, we need major improvement in there as none of the injured players improves us much either (when fit of course). Rome wan't built in a day so we're going to need to improve the front line (again) before the midfield gets work.

One of the few positives today.

Seems to have progressed tremendously since PC arrived.

Thought he was excellent today and has been ever since he came into midfield.

Very good at keeping the ball, got some real energy in him  and some of his passing was exceptional.

Sadly, he can’t do it all on his own.
