Depends on how you look at it. One way is that the NTIA's legal challenge (putting football to shame by the way) has the Government running scared, another is that they're so disorganised they need more time to prepare the legislation.

So they are still technically going ahead with this shite on Friday, but what happens to fans if they turn up with no vaccine doc during this so called grace period? Will the club still be expected to knock back fans? What a fucking mess

It’s important to note that the SNP passports are still being introduced from 1st October so we will have to produce evidence of vaccinations if asked.

Its just the ‘enforcement’ bit that’s been relaxed by the gestapo for a couple of weeks.

But First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said there would now be a "grace period" until 18 October.

It means there will be no enforcement action against businesses who do not comply with the rules before that date.

Ms Sturgeon said the delay would allow businesses to "test, adapt and build confidence in the practical arrangements they will need to put in place to be compliant with the scheme".

I think the next two weeks venues will be allowed to practice implementing the scheme. They will also be allowed to say "fuck this" at any point during the two weeks if it's a massive pain in the arse.
