The thought of Tav putting that armband on himself thinking about Jimmy is proper taking me aback man. Life's pish 😞

I thought about that as well mate.
Really hope he asks Goldson or someone he's close to.
Sad things happen to good people and the pain subsides to leave good memories.

Did he spend a season learning the ropes from Doddie?

You realise just how long he was in place at Ibrox when you see all the great players who came and went during his time  ... I wonder if he ever intended to write a book because someone who was at the heart of the dressing room for so long had a unique perspective

No idea if this has already been posted, but lovely words from JD.

I mimic the words of everyone here...

Jimmy is such a massive loss to Rangers and everyone who was lucky to meet him and/or know him personally. The tributes are incredible to read,  even stories on here from fans.

Defoe has a lot of class about him, and always speaks really well.  Nice words.

Was actually thinking this the other day, imagine the insight we could have got from all of his experiences, from the players he's seen come and go, the places he's travelled with us, the trophies he's witnessed firsthand etc etc.

What a guy! Those memories will live with him forever, and beyond. RIP Jimmy. Legend :rangers:

Perhaps it's already written and sitting on his desk?
