Popular Post Straight-Edge-Loyal 6,686
Just so sad for Jimmy's family and the wider Rangers family tonight. Logged in and the first thing I see is the perfect tribute we could do with the Bears Den rename. Perfect well done admin whoever changed it. Popular Post Brackley Bluenose 4,479
Please don’t get me wrong, it’s not a competition but of all the things I’ve read today this comment from Goldson (who doesn’t put much out on social media) and had no prior links to our club before joining speaks volumes about the man. An unbelievably poignant tribute from Connor Goldson, “I’ll never think of Rangers without thinking of you”. Popular Post theweebluenose 4,332
Something that really stood out for me today was the tributes from the likes of Oduwa and Ojo both saying how he looked out for them during their short time at the Club, despite their limited time here he obviously left a lasting impression on these players which speaks volumes about the man. Everyone sees a bit of their Da in Jimmy. That's bang on about your Da, I lost mine three year ago this month, when I heard the sad news today about Jimmy, my emotions were mixed up between the two for some reason, my Da was not unlike Jimmy in appearance and also passed at 69, also bled blue, its been very emotional this past season in more ways than one, let's hope our team can do Jimmy and Walter proud this Thursday. Popular Post Badger 8,669
How do you replace Jimmy Bell? It really isn't a case of just getting a new kit man, Jimmy Bell was so much more than that. One of the few constants for the club and present as long as I can remember. Clearly a very popular guy during the Monday to Friday mundanity that we fans don't get to see and knew exactly what Rangers was all about. The tributes to him by all sorts of former players, from the superstars, to the guys we had forgotten about, tells its own story.
