Replays proved the goal should have stood, Andy Walker couldn't admit that , just repeatedly said it was a very tight call,  but I didn't expect anything else from him

Well, he is a rancid Rangers hater tbf.

And a cunt.

It's not even close to offside.

Scottish officials are all mason's though

Post: Woeful.

Borna was ok.

Souttar wasnt great - give him time.

Kent was definitely not rotten.

Colak go zero service - scored a good goal that was wrongfullu chopped off.

Arfield was a grea sub.

Not a great challenge for the first header, needs to do much better

It is an absolute embarrassment. They managed to enforce minimum what, 10,000 seater stadiums to the extent of denying a club who had fairly won promotion to the top league - but allow top tier teams to play on astro turf.

Teams should be advised next season all pitches in the top flight will be grass otherwise it means automatic demotion from the SPL.

the pitch is dry as fuck

its like a porn star riding a 99 year old great granny.

I know fatigue plays a part and you get more space as the game goes on.

But why does it take for us to be a goal down or after half time to play with real urgency.

Second half every throw in we were springing to and getting the ball back in play. Free kicks taken quickly. They had no time to breathe and get back in formation.

If you play with that intensity and organised chaos. Then you will create space, mismatches, openings.

The first half everything was slow. As if we expected if we just passed it nicely to each other Livingston would bow down and let us score.

We're in for one shitey season as far as officials are concerned.
Remember these are the very same cunts who will be looking at their decisions trackside.
I would be sacked in my job if i was as imcompetent as that pantomime dames performance went today.
FUCKIN SHOCKING.

Souttar was dreadfully disappointing, he'll be back at Hearts before the end of the season. Barasic was crap as well. We looked more solid and comfortable when Sands came on.

Honest mate.
There was somebody in the papers during the week saying this was Souttars step to a bigger move and could move for £15 million.
Me personally hope to fuck Ben D is up to playing speed soon as.

That's going to happen with a defence that has Souttar who hasn't played in a back 4 let alone left hand side of a back 4 for years and Barisic who has shat it for over a year.

They'll get better. Especially with Yilmaz. Think Souttar will end up keeping Davies out the team.

I hope so mate. IMO, whether you've played in a back 3 or a back 4, that ball gets headed out. He didn't even get near it. Barisic as much to blame for letting the flick on go unchallenged....but I still think Souttar has 1 job to do there and didn't even come close.

1st game, and as you say, they will develop an understanding.

Gio's in game management winning us another game. I doubt many others feel similar but I feel very confident we can turn things round with him in charge and games aren't going our way.

Bringing on Tillman for Wright gave us the overload in the centre and let Tav go 1v1. Bringing on Arfield for Kamara was the right call at the right time as our possession killed Livi's legs. Sands coming on for Souttar really settled us defensively - bold call here but Sands will be the revelation of the season when Jack and Souttar inevitably get injured.

As for Souttar a tough tough debut and a lot of work needed, got bullied, looked clueless positionally and i've seen milk turn faster. I would have him as a understudy to Goldson as he's better with the game in front of him and let Davies, Sands and Helander (if he cant get fit) be the left sided centre halfs who can step forward.

Overall, despite the first half, a deserved victory. We created more chances, should have scored more with Tillman and Colak's wrongly called offside goal. All of this without Morelos, Roofe, Matondo, Yilmaz and Davies. The future is bright.

Hopefully your right, everything seems a struggle though and he was 10 points down on celtic since his arrival. Really think we need a new 1st choice striker to win the league.

Not a vintage performance but that’s a vital win. These pitches don’t suit a team trying to play football and anyone playing hoof ball will be in with a decent chance on them. I’ll reserve judgement on all of the new players until they play a few competitive matches on a proper pitch. This was a very tricky opening tie and we’ve came away with three points. Onwards and upwards Bears.

When Rangers scored twice. Yes I was. :coolio:

Maybe you don't celebrate when Rangers score. But when I do I tend to be loud.

I was walking from the bus terminus upto our break room and plenty of the gay pride folk were in the main square. Ultimately they did get a wee shock when im shouting "yass ya fucking beauty...cmon Rangers " and then when Tav scored the free kick I was just outside a McDonald's and I shouted "yasss Tav" then "that's what I'm talking about Rangers". Only then did I notice how many folk were looking at me.

No fucks given.
