To the contrary, that press conference paints a really positive picture for us: 1) McKay is a lightweight and there's no way he'll be given enough leeway to really rock the boat. He's a typical PR guy - so it seems to me his real job is to smile while serving their fans shite sandwiches and calling it steak. 2) Ange is a fall-guy who's just happy to have a job in European football. He has no leverage to push for more resources than Lennon got. He'll probably get less. 3) Per the previous points: the majority of Lennon's backroom staff will be kept on, indicating that major change in their football 'philosophy' is pretty unlikely. 4) Many members of the squad we stream-rolled last season will be kept on.
