Patterson is the killer, he's being lined up for the permanent no1 RB. Bassey was in lead position to get himself there as LB too perhaps slightly further down the road. Then 2 youths who should be throwing everything at making a career in the game and getting into 1st team squads regularly.

Only Patterson may recover from this, but only because of how much we've invested in him being readied in the style of play we want from full backs. Even then, I'm not sure Gerrard will be as forgiving as some seem to expect.

I have two kids in their early 20s and even last night one of them was bemoaning behind fed up during lockdown, though they are both working.  They have gone to friends houses every now and then, but only one at a time and very rarely. We warned them of risks but they’re both at Uni, doing well, and working shifts to earn money for themselves so I can hardly moan, it’s just so hard for them compared to oldies like me and the Mrs so I have some sympathy for the whole situation our infamous five now face. 

Because we don’t rate them as much, we were spewing on here about Jones and Edmundson and yet we have five idiots that have repeated what was warned about two months ago. A lot of what happens now will hinge on longer term approach for the original two, if loan gets them game time this season and then they come back to fight for their places then Patterson etc will also stay. If the originals get punted and the loans are seeing time out then the same should apply to these five, no matter who they are.  Agree selling on fee as part of sale in summer.  Selling doesn’t mean freeing.

Sorry mate, being caught by the police is not a pre requisite for SFA punishment. celtic ‘admitted’ breaching covid regulations, Duffy left the protective bubble and rejoined it playing a game prior to the completion of a self isolation period.
Yes our lads were caight and dealt with by the police and will be subject to club discipline. 

Please explain why we should accept a fine and/ or player ban outwith our international disciplinary ban without highlighting the fact that their players did exactly the same one no governance sanction was given. I’m not arguing for the sake of it but looking if someone can give me a realistic answer?...

The breeches were very clear.

1.  The trip itself - Under the protocols you can only stay in a hotel for essential reasons - their trip was absolutely not essential. They came out and said EVERYONE - SPFL, SFA, Gov ok'd it. Each of those individually said they didn't and passed the parcel on to the others - the parcel never stopped and (as per my scribblings at the time) Mr Nobody sanctioned it. 2. The photos from the pool and the bar - under the protocols if it is essential to stay in a hotel (it wasn't as per the above) then where possible it should be exclusive use. If exclusivity isn't possible then where possible separate entrances/ lifts etc and meeting rooms should be available on an exclusive basis. Even when exclusive use applies all wellbeing areas, receptions, bars etc should be closed and not used. Close contact is only at training or team meetings and 2m rule should be observed where possible. They shouldn't have been in the bar area or the pool area. Tarriers get out - photos are illegal (don't dare use them as evidence) and what about Scotland players???(don't dare punish us)

TLB's rant was not a meltdown, it was a series of not so veiled threats to all and sundry that they would not accept any punishment whatsoever for their breeches. By the precedent established in the cases of Jones and Edmundson at least 8 first team players SHOULD be serving 7 game bans and they were not going to have that. If that meant all out war with the SFA, SPFL, Gov then that's what they'd do. TLB knew precisely what was to be said and who was to be warned, playing the victim and denying everything come natural to him. He is the most poisonous person ever to darken Scottish football imo. 

They returned from Dubai almost 6 weeks ago, Maxwell confirmed that possible breeches were being looked at a day or two later and the bump in the carpet is bigger and hee-haw has happened. 

There's a dead body, a video of the man doing the killing and he's saying you can't use that video because I didn't give you permission to film me.

To be honest I'd rather be like us, admit the offences, punish the offenders internally and accept the punishments from the authorities. I would however condemn in the strongest terms the continual inconsistencies.

Sad Patterson is caught up in this, but after letting things settle down I'm moving towards just getting rid of all five of them.

For context, I wanted to give Edmundson and Jones a second chance.

But it's fucking unforgiveable to have done what those five have after everything that's gone before it.

An act of utter stupidity, that could have put the whole team at risk had it been followed up with a training session. It didn't, so its damage limitation. Gerrard's done his bit with the media. They take their punishment and the footballing bodies and the government issued with the findings and we now move on with minimal fuss. No point in further ruminating or any hanging parties.

There were a lot of rumours - online and in the press - that he was an injury doubt for the next two games. Turned out to be total bollocks - Gerrard called it "fake news" in his presser.

No it wouldnt have put the full team at risk had they been training with them, not once has a positive case been track and traced to players training this season, the killie players, st mirren guys, hibs current case, even the tarriers when turnbull was pictured training with the first team the day before a positive case, infact he was at the team hotel in edinburgh when he got his results 

Team training is obviously designed to not have close contact to the point where they'd need to isolate after a positive result to a player

Surely that's what we need? Get the fear in the players that if you fuck up this badly you get sacked, would think that would stop it happening! We should've done it with Edmundson/Jones, one is our 4/5th choice CB & the other is a waster, make an example of them and this maybe doesn't happen. 

Giving players fines of 4 weeks wages these days does nothing, they're on that much money its a drop in the water for most of them.

There’s most likely distancing measures on the flight much like there is on team buses when they travel to games and in changing rooms before matches

No we shouldn’t, sacking would be the stupidest thing the club could do, at very worst they should never play again and be sold in the summer, paying off 6 players when you get some sort of fee for them would be madness
