They are fucked. Christie, Eduard and Ayer wanting away and to get anything like what they are actually worth they will need to sell them now as their value is plummeting. Any of them sold won't be replaced as the money will be used to help plug the hole in this season's finances and let's face it even they aren't daft enough to trust Lennon with any more money. If they leave now it will affect season ticket sales and if they go in the summer the return will be even less. I can also see at least one of them just letting their contract run down.

They are stuck with the likes of Barkas and Ajeti who will be on a decent wage never mind the dross that they have bought the last few years. Again wages draining the coffers for players who will be in no rush to move for a lesser contract. 

They desperately need a goalkeeper and CB so whatever meager funds they have will need to be spent there.

Season tickets will be down as the massive amount of glory hunters abandon them after the failed ten. The disaster that is occurring at the moment will add to those not renewing. 

So after a season of failing in Europe and losing match day revenue income will be less than pre covid and they will have a weakened team giving them less chance of being able to increase revenue on the pitch.

Then there are the court cases which will start coming thick and fast and no matter what bullshit they come out with about a separate entity that will not hold up in a court of law. Compensation for sexual abuse tends to be around £50,000 to £100,000 so times that by over a hundred cases and add in lawyers fees and that is another massive hit financially. Not to mention the negative publicity that will come about from their treatment of the victims. 

Add into that that they will struggle to attract any manager of note and even players will be put off by their behaviour. 

It could take them years to recover especially when you consider that their fan base does not have the loyalty of ours and they will leave in droves and the house of cards is apt indeed.

Rafa to sellick ,only a mega size paycheck and a spend as you please budget would have to be found,neanwhile they are using furrlough money to save then cash.They will ose money on most of clean ot in fees .their priority is tocur spending not increase it.they are looking green at the gills at our more profrssional  set up and what we are achieving on and off the pitch with a much lower budget.

I keep reading on this thread / elsewhere about the court cases that are coming against the scum. Obv the financial implications could potentially be huge. Needless to say settlements to the families and victims by this vile entity is far from substantial. They should be kicked out of football permanently. However, my question is when are these court cases coming? I don’t read anything about the scum other than what’s on this thread so haven’t a clue. This thread has been immense btw, plus the previous incarnation as well. Kept me going through lockdown, only second to the fact 55 is coming soon of course! 👍🍻🥂
