McGregor on the other hand, his stats speak for themselves. Old firm games ,European runs, loads of silverware, stand out player.

Aye, average players get 10 Caps all the time. He was above average and could have stayed in the Premiership or gone to England in 2012 and wod probably have doubled his cap number.

Whatever his limitations/abilities were ON the pitch....off it, he put the club before his professional career. For that act alone, he is worthy of hero status in my eyes.

Yes above average players play mainly in friendlies and have 10 caps ffs. Have you actually looked at his international career before spouting nonsense.

Sacrificed his own career for the club and that should never be forgotten. He played for the jersey and that's rare these days. Was treated shockingly by the club but none of us are surprised. Hope when he goes in to coaching he is a huge success.
