    • We should be interested in good players whatever League they're from, I think Ferguson was a no brainer back in 2022, same as Aaron Hickey was a no brainer the year earlier, there's certain players that you can just see there potentiel, that doesn't mean anyone else should be considered just because they're doing well in that same league, Ferguson and Hickey had serious potentiel along with a professionalism and maturity in their game, you only need to look at Shankland's shape to see he hasn't had that same professionalism.   He reminds me of Boyd, just not as good, and with the way the game has changed in the last 15 years, I'm not sure there's a place at clubs like ours for those kind of players anymore, guys who are literally a man down unless they can score you a goal.
    • I posted on page 20 in this thread that it was 3 / 12 awarded by ref in March, this is a bigger issue than the incorrect decision balancing out exercise last week.
    • Buy Shankland in the summer and by October he'll be getting it stinking for being fat, lazy and slow, the whole Hearts team is built around him, he wouldn't be playing the same game here, he might be a better finisher than Dessers, but he would be expected to put the same kind of shift Dessers puts in, and he's nowhere near conditioned enough for that level of game, IMO.   Armstrong is a good wee player, I like him, and in isolation could maybe do a job, although again Jordan Jones and Greg Stewart looked the business at Kilmarnock, it's a whole different ball game when you come here and play against a low block 80% of the time.
    • The other way to go is what Gerrard done 4-3-1-2 and do away with the wingers which tbf we don’t have any that should be starting anyway. There’s a few whispers that Sima might be back and if he is play  him up front and try get him pulling on to Scales like  Aberdeen done.
    • I can definitely see it being true. Some of them haven't even been debatable either. The two against St Johnstone for a start.
